Welcome! I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Global Health & Population at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

I am a health economist. My current research focuses on the incidence and persistence of health disparities in the United States in a variety of settings. I focus on health disparities in maternal health, emergency department care, and those that arise due to negative external shocks.

My paper with Partha Deb, The Effects of School Shootings on Risky Behavior, Health, and Human Capital, has been cited in the Surgeon General’s Advisory on Firearm Violence and the 2025 Economic Report of the President (Published Version; NBER Working Paper Version).

I hold a PhD in Health Services Organization & Policy (Cognate: Economics) from the University of Michigan, and a BA in Biochemistry, a BA in Economics, and a MA in Economics all from Hunter College, City University of New York.
